Father Daniel Murphy, the pastor of St. Saviour’s parish in Park Slope, was recently inducted into the St. Augustine D.H.S. Lancer Hall of Fame.
Father Murphy has served in many roles throughout the Diocese of Brooklyn, but his claim to fame is that he was the New York Mets team chaplain from 1984-1990, which of course includes the 1986 World Series championship season.
