Xaverian H.S. in Bay Ridge had four all-stars selected to play in this year’s Mayor’s Cup lacrosse game. The game was played June 2 at Poly Prep Country Day School in Dyker Heights.

Molloy Hosts Players’ Day To Honor Coach Jack Curran
Archbishop Molloy H.S. in Briarwood welcomed back former baseball and basketball players, including New York Mets’ outfielder Mike Baxter and NBA player Sundiata Gaines, to a special Players’ Day to honor the legacy of legendary coach Jack Curran.
Coach Curran coached baseball and basketball at Molloy for the past 55 years before passing away March 14 at the age of 82.
He shaped the lives of countless Molloy students, and he’s already been greatly missed.
